Available for new engagements — Q4 2026

The engineering bench your clients think you already have.

naeon is a specialist practice for infrastructure, security and automation work — built to sit behind hosting companies, agencies and e-shops as the team that handles what nobody else on the roster can.

Capabilities

Five disciplines, one accountable engineer.

Most problems worth hiring for cross boundaries — the security finding is an infrastructure problem, the integration is really a data-modelling problem. naeon covers the whole span so the handoffs stop being yours to manage.

Infrastructure & DevOps

Provisioning, migration and hardening of the servers your business actually runs on. Reproducible environments, sane deploys, monitoring that pages a human only when it should.

DockerTerraformAnsibleCI/CDK8sObservability

Cybersecurity

Hardening reviews, incident response and the unglamorous remediation work that follows. Written up so a non-technical stakeholder can read the risk and a developer can action the fix.

AI, Automation & Agents

LLM-backed workflows that replace real manual hours — support triage, document extraction, catalogue enrichment. Scoped against a measurable baseline, not a demo.

3D & AR Development

Interactive product visualisation and augmented reality for the web — configurators, in-context previews, WebXR. Optimised to load on the phone your customer actually owns.

Backend & Integrations

APIs, data pipelines and the connector layer between systems that were never designed to talk. ERP ↔ e-shop sync, payment and logistics providers, legacy middleware.

Not sure which of these it is?

That is usually the honest starting position, and it is a fine one. The first conversation is diagnostic — we work out together what the problem actually is before anyone quotes anything.

Who we work with

Built for teams who sell engineering, not for teams who buy it once.

naeon works best as a long-running technical partner inside someone else's delivery model — under your brand, on your timeline, invoiced to you.

Web hosting companies

Migrations, control-plane automation, hardening after an incident, and the escalation tier your support team hands the genuinely hard tickets to.

Web & digital agencies

The infrastructure and backend half of client projects your team doesn't staff for. White-label, NDA-covered, and never in front of your client unless you want us there.

Service companies & subcontracting

Overflow capacity on fixed-scope work, or a named specialist on a tender you'd otherwise pass on. We're comfortable being a line item on your statement of work.

E-shops & commerce platforms

ERP connectors, stock and pricing sync, order and fulfilment pipelines, and the performance work that stops Black Friday from becoming a postmortem.

How we work

Questions before quotes.

naeon runs on the Socratic method and continuous discovery. The brief you arrive with is a hypothesis about your problem — a good one, usually, but still a hypothesis. Our first job is to test it with you rather than quietly build on top of it.

In practice that means we ask uncomfortable questions early, we ship in slices small enough to be proven wrong cheaply, and we keep the discovery running after launch instead of closing it at kickoff.

The expensive projects are almost never the technically hard ones. They're the ones where everybody agreed on the answer before anyone tested the question. — Pantelis, naeon
01

Interrogate the brief

A structured conversation about what breaks today, who feels it, and what "solved" would actually look like in numbers. No proposal is written before this.

02

Map the real system

Read the infrastructure, the data and the failure history as they are — not as the documentation claims. Findings are written down and shared, whether or not you hire us.

03

Slice to the smallest provable win

Scope the first increment so it delivers value on its own and falsifies the riskiest assumption first. Cheap to be wrong, fast to be right.

04

Build, instrument, review

Ship with the measurement in place from day one. Every increment ends with evidence, and evidence is allowed to change the plan.

05

Keep discovering

Discovery doesn't close at kickoff. Standing review cadence, an honest backlog, and a documented handover so you're never hostage to a single engineer — including us.

Selected work

A few representative engagements.

Client names withheld under NDA; figures are from the engagement's own before/after measurement.

Hosting provider

Fleet migration and deploy automation

Moved 400+ legacy shared-hosting accounts onto containerised infrastructure with reproducible provisioning, cutting a two-day manual onboarding into a scripted run.

ERP ↔ storefront connector

Bidirectional stock, pricing and order sync between an on-prem ERP and the storefront, replacing a nightly CSV job that routinely oversold inventory.

Digital agency

White-label security remediation

Post-incident hardening across a client portfolio, delivered under the agency's brand with reporting their account managers could hand straight to the client.

Tell us what's actually broken.

The more specific the symptom, the more useful the first reply. Half-formed problems are welcome — that's what the diagnostic is for.
